Traffic is a problem that continues to plague areas across our state. New roads are not enough. This challenge requires us to “think outside the box” and look at both long-term and short-term solutions. It is time for more than talk and increased VDOT budgets. It is time for action.
Ward Armstrong believes in a better transportation system for all of Virginia. He was part of a coalition that secured $300 million in state funds for the four-laning of U.S. 58. He will continue to be a strong advocate for that project. He is a vocal supporter of the proposed Interstate 73 and will continue to work to see construction on that project launched. Ward Armstrong also is dedicated to seeing all highway projects completed on budget and on time.
