Armstrong Receives "A" Rating from NRA

10th Continuous "A" Rating in Legislative Career

Delegate Ward Armstrong has received an "A" rating from the National Rifle Association (NRA) in the race for the 9th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.

Delegate Armstrong has consistently been endorsed by the NRA and has received "A" ratings every legislative cycle since first taking office in the House of Delegates in 1992.

"I'm pleased to have received an "A" rating from the NRA," said Delegate Armstrong. "I'm a big believer in the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment. Hunting and sportsmanship is an important part of our lifestyle and heritage in Southwest and Southside Virginia; and I have a long tradition of standing up for the rights of law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen."

The National Rifle Association is America's foremost defender of Second Amendment rights. Since its inception in 1871, it has also been the premier firearms education organization in the world. Purposes and objectives of the NRA include protecting the right to keep and bear arms, furthering the shooting sports, marksmanship and safety training, and the promotion of hunter safety.
