|
Delegate Ward Armstrong has received the endorsement of the Virginia Education Association (VEA) in the race for the 9th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.
"I am honored to once again receive the endorsement of the Virginia Education Association, said Delegate Armstrong. "I, my wife and children all attended public schools here and received wonderful educations. Our children are our most valuable resource and it is important that we invest in them. I look forward to continuing to work together as a community to ensure our schools have the resources they need to provide a high quality education for our children and prepare them for the future."
"Ward Armstrong knows that nothing is more important than preparing our children for the future. He knows that good public schools are the foundation for strong communities and a vibrant economy. He believes in investing in our public schools and our children's future. He champions preparing today's children for tomorrow's jobs. That is why I am a strong supporter of Ward Armstrong's return to the House," stated VEA President, Dr. Kitty Boitnott.
VEA is a statewide community of more than 60,000 teachers and school support professionals working for the betterment of public education in the Commonwealth. First organized in 1863, VEA has consistently advocated for quality instruction and curriculum, adequate funding, and excellent working conditions for Virginia public employees. ### |
